The Pond that Finally Belonged
This week, for the first time, I sat down and simply watched the pond. After weeks of mud, rocks, leaks, doubt, and stubborn effort, it finally felt less like a project and more like a place.
Too Early for the Bloom
We went to Point Dume expecting the hills to be covered in wildflowers. Instead, the bloom had not yet arrived. A few yellow blossoms had pushed through, some already curling in the early heat.
