3 Reasons to Awaken Kundalini

Energy is a fundamental aspect of life. Without energy, you would have no ability to be a productive and creative force in this world.

I've at length about the three basic types of energy — jing, qi, and shen. If you are not familiar with them, visit my article here.

But right now, I want to talk about a different kind of energy. I want to talk about an evolutionary energy, an energy that 99.99% of people do not utilize. This energy is called Kundalini.

Kundalini is a sleeping giant. Coiled like a serpent at the base of the human spine, this energy can unravel, traveling along the spine, piercing the seven chakras, and illuminating the brain at the crown of the head.

You're probably wondering, why would I awaken this energy? Three reasons:

1. It will lead you to spiritual enlightenment.

The energy will give you the capacity to meditate more deeply and more profoundly, resulting in powerful experiences.

2. It will give you special abilities.

Many great dancers, great musicians, great artists, great speakers, and great writers awakened this energy. Their gifts did not result from personal wisdom or conscious individual power. Their inspiration is a quality and a power that has been handed to them as a result of awakening this energy. Examples of such people abound. Beethoven, Da Vinci, Mozart, Wagner, are a few classic examples that come to mind.

No only that, a whole range of siddhis result from kundalini. A siddhi is a spiritual, paranormal, supernatural, or otherwise magical power, ability, or attainment.

Here are a few examples of siddhis: Knowing the past, present, and future. Tolerance of heat, cold, and other dualities. Knowing the minds of others. Hearing and seeing things far away.

3. It will increase your lifespan

A lot of people die immediately after they retire. People who awaken kundalini can extend their creative and productive years, working well into their eighties, even nineties.
